This morning, I went to Umstead and hiked the Pott's Branch and Sycamore Trails. It was a little hot, but much more bearable than it has been previously. It was obvious that there hasn't been much rain though - the Sycamore Creek was almost completely dry. We were done by about noon and I went to the pool after that to cool off. Now I'm off to Lake Lynn to get rid of some stale bread - I'm sure the ducks will be more than happy to help me with this. |
